Gilchrist Institute

What is the Gilchrist Institute?

The Institute Its' History, Background

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Robert J. Flower as a means for expanding awareness and concepts as well as taking action based upon fact. It represents an exercise in mind sciences and developing ones' potential through understanding. The institute has enjoyed numerous leaders as directors and supporters over the years, such as: Alan Johnson, CEO of Gimbels, Macys and the Bantus Group Terry Anderson, longest held hostage in western history and American hero Nick Marano, past president of Progresso Foods and Psychologist, Dr. Les Fehmi, world bio feedback authority.

Its Findings

-Natural Intelligence

In 1984, Dr. Flower discovered what is now known as Natural Intelligence (NATI) - the Discovery of 13 Basic Principles found throughout Natural Sciences as well as Human Character-A sort of universal basis for everything!

The Achievement Sciences

From there, research eventually led to the founding of the Achievement Sciences, a novel scientific, yet humanist approach to creating, organizing and functioning on all levels of understanding. This is now a holistic, all encompassing approach to everyday living.

Effecting Change

-With Development as the key life focus, we have found that judgement and direction is readily defined.

-The Pursuit of The Exceptional Mind has led us to the discovery of ones Master Life Issue. -This incredible finding defines, with certainty, the issue(s) which control our daily lives and everyday actions!

Membership

While the Institute is currently very well funded, it is always seeking members. The fundamental reasons for this are to maintain its programs while most importantly to garner support and proliferation of its projects such as "The Renaissance Movement". Our founders have enjoyed great success in political and social movements over the years by utilizing the Institute's findings, such as NATI and the Achievement Sciences.

Director and Founder, Robert John Flower, PH.D., is a graduate of Fordham and Walden University. Dr. Flower holds a PH.D. in organizational and human system sciences. A Mensa scholar and sports enthusiast, he developed a sports and mind enhancement program in 1980 which was based upon his discovery of Natural Intelligence. This eventually led to the founding of The Achievement Sciences, then ultimately to The Exceptional Mind.

The Renaissance Movement

A project to deal with the issues of our times! To look beyond the surface and the accepted notions. To see things from an overall perspective and not from just a snapshot in time. To engage in development of our potential without restrictions, such as political correctness. To display, learn and expand our natural intelligence and utilize it as a common ground for understanding and judgment. To make Development, the key to all-human purpose, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. To uncover the sacred cows and relegate them to a fitting place. To satisfy the silent cries of "Quite Desperation" by bringing purpose and meaning to our lives. To deal with the mysteries of creation without institutional restrictions. To lead those who govern us. To inform those who report about us. To teach and confront the Great Restrictions of Fear, Ego, Ignorance, and Self-deception. To identify those hidden dynamics within each of us which control our daily lives. To promote responsibility as a mainstream value. To put the concept of culture into its proper perspective. To establish a base of support in order to stimulate open comment, corrective criticism and directional judgment, without fear of reprisal.
